My name is Tatyana Morris
I am a runway designer. I came to the United States 20 years ago. All my life I dreamed of becoming a fashion designer. But I was not given the opportunity to realize this dream until I met my husband.
As a lawyer, he represented and worked in the luxury fashion industry.
He even lived in Florence, Italy for six months. He pushed me to pursue my dream of becoming a fashion designer. In 2019, 20 years after working for Gucci, we went to Italy, where he introduced me to his friends, his former colleagues, designers, stylist and photographers.
I was in fashion heaven!
I was so excited thousands of ideas appeared in my head and I realized, this is the time when I should act ! Many of my old friends made fun of me and did not believe in me. But my real friends and my family were all the support I needed. I did my first fashion show in 2019.
It was a successful show and we all had a great time.
From that moment I set a high bar for myself and a year later I’ve added new clothes and accessories to my collection.
Now, I continue to work on a new collection which I plan to submit to one of contests next year!
